In recognition of National Library Week, this week’s program is a repeat broadcast of a February conversation with Connie Sutton, director of the Keyser/Mineral County Public Library. She discusses library services and funding; programs and activities for kids; and the library’s recently completed pictorial book on the lives of long-time Keyser residents, Tom and Thelma O’Connor.
This week’s guests are Cindy Pyles, President, Mineral County Historical Society, and Dinah Courrier, curator of the new Mineral County Historical Society Museum. They talk about the creation and funding of the museum; some of its displays and stories; and plans for the grand opening on Saturday, April 6, at 11:00 AM. The museum is located at 253 Carskadon Lane, Keyser, in the back of Dr. James Courrier’s dental office building.
