“Mountain Streams Radio” is A mix of new and classic Bluegrass, Folk and acoustic music. WKYW-LP began broadcasting in February 2017 at 102.9 FM, and operates as a “low power FM” (LPFM) radio station, licensed to the Mineral County Historical Society with studios and transmitter at Catamount Place on the campus of Potomac State College of West Virginia University, Keyser, WV.

Mountain Streams Radio is a noncommercial radio station and a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization. Support for Mountain Streams Radio comes from three primary sources: listener contributions, underwriting and grant requests. In addition to great music, Mountain Streams Radio offers community news and public affairs.
